3G Colorado preserves the legacies of Holocaust survivors, educates our communities, and connects the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of survivors across Colorado.
Our story
3G Colorado was founded by descendants of Holocaust survivors who felt a calling — not just to remember, but to act. As the generation of survivors grows smaller, the urgency of preserving their testimonies and carrying their lessons forward grows larger.
We are the grandchildren and great-grandchildren of people who survived the unsurvivable. We grew up with their stories woven into our identities — the silence at the dinner table, the numbers on a forearm, the photographs of people who never made it out. That inheritance carries weight, and responsibility.
3G Colorado was established as the Denver-based chapter of Living Links, the national organization founded by the children and grandchildren of survivors. We bring that mission to Colorado — educating our communities, supporting our descendants, and making sure the phrase "never again" is backed by action, not just memory.
Our timeline
Denver's chapter of Living Links is founded by third-generation descendants of Holocaust survivors.
Initial social events and storytelling sessions bring Denver's 3G community together for the first time.
Members begin speaking in Denver-area schools, Jewish community centers, and faith spaces.
Building digital infrastructure, formal membership, and partnerships to sustain our mission for generations to come.
What guides us
We are living links to history. Every story we carry, every name we speak aloud is an act of preservation against forgetting.
We believe the lessons of the Holocaust belong to everyone. We bring those lessons into schools, synagogues, churches, and community spaces.
Being a descendant can feel isolating. We create space for 3G and 4G descendants to find each other, share, and heal together.
We train and support descendants to share their grandparents' testimonies with confidence, accuracy, and heart.
"Never again" requires active vigilance. We stand against intolerance in all its forms, in our own time and our own communities.
Our community welcomes survivors, descendants, spouses, educators, and allies — everyone who believes memory matters.
Our national connection
3G Colorado is a proud chapter of Living Links — a national organization founded by the children and grandchildren of Holocaust survivors. Living Links exists to ensure that as the generation of survivors passes, their testimonies and the lessons they carried are not lost with them.
Through a network of regional chapters, Living Links connects descendants across the country, provides resources for testimony preservation, and supports the education of diverse communities about the Holocaust and the dangers of intolerance. 3G Colorado brings this mission to Denver and the surrounding Colorado community.
